I grew up in front of a camera - my late grandfather's to be exact. My sister, cousins and I were his favorite "models" to shoot as far back as I can remember. I have such fond, sweet memories of photo shoots in parks; at Blue Bird Gap Farm in my hometown of Hampton, VA; on my grandparents' front porch; in his "studio" which also doubled as their living room; and just about anywhere else the opportunity presented itself.

As fate would have it, I developed a knack for not only being in front of a camera, but also behind one.  Over the years, I found myself shooting more and investing in training and professional equipment just for fun. Before I knew it, I realized photography served multiple purposes for me...it's something I love, something I do well and something that serves others. Words can't express what it means to me to see sheer joy on my client's faces or to hear their excitement beaming through the phone as they view their images and relive their Photography Experience!
